About A Course in Grief Alchemy

A Course in Grief Alchemy is a  journey into the transformative nature of grief, on your own timeline. Grief is not something we move past. It is something we learn to carry forward. As we expand our understanding of ourselves and our experience, we expand our capacity to carry our grief. And as we learn to carry it, we create space for grief to transform our lives. Grief Alchemy is a six-part framework for moving into the depths of grief and allowing it to transform us. Inspired by Carl Jung’s understanding of alchemy as a process of inner transformation, Grief Alchemy invites us to stop trying to fix, outrun, or bypass our grief and instead listen for what it is asking of us. The six touchstones are not a straight line, but a spiral. We return to them again and again as our grief unfolds, each carrying its own calling. The process moves us from the initial rupture of loss, through the underworld of grief, and toward emergence on the other side with greater self-understanding, deeper trust, and the resilience to carry our grief forward. Move through the material at your own pace, returning to each touchstone as often as you need. Through meditation, reflection, teaching, and experiential practices, you will be guided toward a deeper understanding of yourself, your grief, and your capacity to carry it.
